Earth Friendly Products recently announced that it has achieved an unprecedented “trifecta” of sustainable manufacturing: carbon neutrality, water neutrality and USZWBC Zero Waste Platinum certification. Earth Friendly Products is the first company to achieve this unique distinction.

Carbon Neutral: In 2013 Earth Friendly Products became carbon neutral, in part through its switch to 100 percent renewable energy, saving over 53 million pounds of carbon dioxide emissions annually.

Zero Waste: In 2015, Earth Friendly Products received the prestigious USZWBC Zero Waste Platinum certification at all its facilities, diverting over 95% of its waste from landfills and incineration through recycling and reuse.

Water Neutral: In 2016, after six years of actively reducing its water usage, Earth Friendly Products achieved water neutrality, restoring over 10 million gallons of water to critically endangered rivers and wetlands in North America.

Earth Friendly Products has also received awards for its advancements in safer green chemistry, including the U.S. EPA’s Safer Choice Partner of the Year. The company now offers over 60 Safer Choice-certified products, the most in the industry.
