The Environmental Media Association (EMA) kicked off their first-ever IMPACT Summit in Los Angeles with the goal of bringing about awareness and education in the green space. The event was nothing short of spectacular as Hollywood elite joined forces with a series of influential speakers, panelists and activists to effect positive change in a world that’s faced with a growing list of challenges.  

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti was in Washington, D.C. Wednesday to be honored by the National Council of La Raza for his advocacy of Latinos, but he took advantage of the trip to the nation's capital to discuss two issues important to the city — infrastructure and immigration — with congressional and administration leaders.

I spoke to John Paul DeJoria, the cofounder and chairman of the Board of John Paul Mitchell Systems and The Patrón Spirits Company, before his keynote speech at the EMA IMPACT Summit. 

I spoke to Lance Bass, a member of the famed music group *NSYNC, as he prepares to speak at the EMA IMPACT Summit, taking place on March 23 and 24 at the Montage in Beverly Hills, California. Bass, a Board Member of EMA, talked to me about his role, how he overcame one of his career struggles, the impact he wants to have on the world and his best advice.
