EMA Partner Spotlight: H&M Group to supply protective equipment for hospitals
During these challenging times, it’s important to focus on the stories of people and companies stepping up and doing the right thing. Similar to the way H&M is doing its part to tackle sustainability and climate action, the clothing company is not assisting in the COVID-19 fight.
H&M Group will utilize its supply chain capacity, including its widespread purchasing operations and logistics capabilities, in order to start delivering as soon as possible. The company’s supply chain teams around the world are now collectively supporting in these initial efforts to support countries and communities worldwide.
After CEO Helena Helmersson reached out to the EU to understand the needs and to offer the company’s help, H&M Group immediately started to prepare production of personal protective equipment for healthcare providers.
Way to go, H&M Group!
